Track live drums or build realistic midi drum tracks
With up to 12 channels of mic preamps, I can record live drums here at the Lab. But I am also very proficient with EZ Drummer, the industry standard drum production software. I also have a passion for writing and building drum tracks that are realistic and capture the subtleties of a seasoned drummer. I also have a Yamaha DTXplorer electronic kit to perform drums into EZdrummer for easy editing later.
Instruments
If you are a band with your own instruments and amps, I can track them here at the Lab. The studio includes sound dampening and isolation, as well as both dynamic and condenser mics. We can also utilize direct line recording and virtual amps.
If you are a singer/songwriter and need others to perform instruments, I am accomplished at lead & rhythm guitar, bass, keyboards, vocals, and percussion myself. I also have access to many talented session musicians, including saxophone, pedal steel, violin, and more.
